Start a local chapter

A key part of growing The New Agenda is creating a network of local chapters. That will give us the breadth and depth we need to respond forcefully on issues affecting women on both the local and national levels.

Co-founder Thia Lawson heads up our grassroots organizing effort, and has written a thoughtful guide for prospective team captains:

Get Women in a Room: How to start or join a local chapter of The New Agenda

Also check out our tips on holding a meeting, and be sure to read co-founder Cynthia Ruccia’s report of the first-ever local grassroots meeting of The New Agenda.

If you’re interested in being a Team Captain, contact us at NewAgendaTeamCaptain@yahoo.com.

If you’d just like to connect with other members in your local area, email us at: ConnectLocally@yahoo.com. The email address you provide will be shared with Team Captains and members in your area who would like to meet or exchange ideas about local New Agenda events.
